Classes are now available at Draper Art Studio!
The 2018-2019 session runs Sept 25, 2018 - April 30, 2019, and follows Alpine School District’s holiday schedule.

Art classes at Draper Art Studio are kept to under 10 people to allow for regular one-on-one interaction and critique. I believe that concept development is important, and as such, students are taught technique and material knowledge, and are encouraged to develop their own ideas for their art, keeping step-by-step instruction to a minimum. Thus every student gets a chance to develop their own styles and explore various techniques, while leaving with a piece that is truly their own.
Students will develop talent, social skills, and gain appreciation for themselves and the world of art.

FAMILY DISCOUNT: 1st family member pays full price, each subsequent member 1/2 off for any class.
i.e. 3 siblings in the Children's Discovery class, paying monthly, would be $70/month ($35, $17.50, $17.50)
If multiple classes are taken, I will always pull the full price amount from the most expensive class.

All Ages Discovery Classes
Ages 7 - Adult: 1 hr class
Tuesdays 4-5 pm
Class limit: 8 (OPENINGS)
This is a fantastic introduction or continuation of skills already learned. Students will work in a variety of mediums, both 2D and 3D. Concepts such as perspective, light, focal point and color will be taught. Abstract, realism, surrealism and impressionism will be discussed.
This is a class that can be joined at any time.
$10/weekly class or $35/monthly session. Fees cover instruction and all materials.
Resin Workshops
By Appointment
Done individually or as a couple, this is the opportunity to create your own 2D resin masterpiece!
Choose your custom surface size, and come to the studio for an hour to select colors, pour, tip, and blowtorch to create a beautiful, glossy piece. After a 1-2 day cure, your art will be ready to hang!
$0.30/sq inch, minimum $80 purchase
Size options range from 1' x 1' to 3' x 4' common measurement (Actual: 0.155 in. x 47.7 in. x 95.7 in.)
Pieces can be framed for an additional cost
Parties and Paint Night Events

Lisa Draper enjoys providing step-by-step paint activities for birthday parties, church/community events, and corporate recreation.
Event organizers choose the painting subject matter (i.e. fish, circus themed, birds, flowers, car, etc) and Lisa will bring pre-patterned canvases so all participants can enjoy their work at the end of the night.
Party packages start at $140 for 45-60 minutes of instruction for 8 guests, on-site in your home/party location.
Cost includes:
-Custom art pattern developed for your event
-Up to 1 hour of instruction (45 minutes for young children)
-Set up/take down
-Painting materials and surfaces for all guests
Cost does not include:
-Tables/chairs
-Drop cloths/floor protectors
-Event location
