ONLINE RESOURCES

Call for Entries (C4E)
A searchable online guide divided into art and photography sections to help artists and photographers find art calls and art opportunities. C4E encourages organizations to list events in C4E that focus on promoting work and advancing participants’ careers.

Zapplication
Database of art fairs and festivals across the USA. Search, apply, and keep tabs on applications at this one-stop festival site. Free to use, it is the main database used by festivals to send out calls for vendors, and collect applications. I highly recommend signing up for their emails and watching for shows you’ve never heard of before.

Sunshine Artist
Online listing of the 200 best art festivals and craft fairs in the USA, ranked annually according to votes from working artists. This is a membership service, though the top 20 in each category are released to the public for free.

Art Fair Essentials by Crista Cloutier
Created by Crista Cloutier, creator of The Working Artist, Art Fair Essentials is an online class that teaches everything to know about selling at art festivals and fairs, from your city art festival all the way up to big-city white wall fairs that draw collectors from across the globe.

Art Business Academy by Jason Horejs
By Jason Horejs, son of artist John Horejs, owner/founder of Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, and author of 2 of my favorite books for artists, “Starving to Successful” and “How to Sell Your Art”, this is a 32-lesson course on getting into galleries. The quality of information, individual feedback, and overall improvement you’ll see from implementing this course cannot be understated.

CANDYclub with Katrina Berg
A successful Utah artist and businesswoman, Katrina guides you through taking your art business from a disorganized distant dream to a moving, thriving creation. This is a mentor program designed for female artists who want to make their hobby a business. Katrina is a resource both for those who are striving for gallery representation as well as to sell their work individually.
